Dr. Shobhaa Ravi is founder and Managing Director of Effective Strategeez LLC, a business development and investment advisory firm focused on Smart Grid, Renewable Energy, Telecom and Mobile sectors. She holds the position of Dallas Area Director for Cleantech Open, an international organization whose mission is to foster start-ups in clean technologies. She has twenty-six years experience in business development, technology development, marketing, partnership management, and corporate mergers, acquisitions and divestitures in telecom, wireless and renewable energy industries.
Her international experience was gained as an executive with Effective Strategeez, Nortel and Samsung in France, Canada, India, Korea, Middle East and USA. Dr. Ravi received her Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India; M.B.A. from University of Ottawa, Canada and training in investment banking from the Investment Banking Institute, New York. Shobhaa is located in Dallas, Texas.
